Imaginove International, Partnering with Asia
Since its founding, among its many different tasks, Imaginove has assisted companies in developing and in reinforcing their international operations.
Helping with preliminary international approaches, prospecting new markets, booking B-to-B meetings: thanks to these measures several companies from Rhône-Alpes have succeeded in putting together an international strategy, structuring co-production agreements, establishing subsidiaries abroad, implementing top strategic partnerships and more.
To drive this approach, the Imaginove competitive cluster has developed a partnering policy with similar clusters in key regions of the world: Europe, North America (USA and Canada) and Asia. As such, it streamlines contacts for its member companies.
In the Far East, Imaginove has developed its network through partnerships in South Korea and Shanghai.
Likewise, for 2 years Imaginove has been working closely with the Taipei Film Commission and has set up a partner-based relationship with the Bureau Français of Taiwan.

This year again, conjointly with the Ile-de-France commission, Imaginove and several of its members will attend the Hong Kong Filmart from March 18 to 21, 2013 ! This trade fair is open to professionals in distribution, film production and acquisition, TV programs, animation films, production and post-production services, audiovisual equipment and technology companies and additional service-provision for the entertainment industry. The Filmart has approximately 500 exhibitors from 28 different countries, of which a strong Asian contingent.
